Fareed Boodram CrossFit TTG January 2018 Athlete of the Month!

  1. What made you start CrossFit?

 ​I was tired of the standard gym workout atmosphere.  I feel like my goals were more in line with what Crossfit had to offer.

  1. What is one thing most people don’t know about you?

​   I am a Cruzan.  I was born on the island of St. Croix in the USVI.

  1. What is your one favorite and least favorite movement in CrossFit?­

Favorite movement: 

Bodyweight exercises

I believe you should always be able to functionally move your body weight.

Plus you can take use these workouts anywhere.

Least favorite:  

Snatch. I am working on it, so I can move it​ out of this category.

  1. What is your ultimate cheat meal?­

Desserts. Those that have Oreo cookies and ice cream included. 

  1. Since starting CrossFit, What is your biggest/proudest accomplishment?­

Well…that would be a muscle up. I Rx’d and completed a WOD involving muscle ups on my first attempt.
