Diana Estes, CrossFit TTG March 2019 Athlete of the Month!
1.What made you start CrossFit?
I have health issues that stem from years of obesity, so I felt it was critical that I work on getting in better shape. I had a $10 gym membership that I was not using and wanted to try something different. I found the Crossfit TTG fliers in the break room at work and the rest is history!
2.What is one thing most people don’t know about you?
I love to sing. I sing at my church in the choir and have been since I was 13 years old. Singing and music makes me happy. Crossfit has even helped with my breathing while singing.
3.What is your one favorite and least favorite movement in CrossFit?

4.What is your ultimate cheat meal?
Anything smothered in gravy! I enjoy having a good ribeye occasionally also.
5. Since starting CrossFit, What is your biggest/proudest accomplishment.
I am most proud of the strength that I have gained, especially core strength. I have also shed about 20 lbs and maintained for about 2 years now.
6.What are your top 3 favorite movies of all time?
Color Purple, Forest Gump and The Shawshank Redemption.
7.What is your favorite past time outside of the gym?
I enjoy going to concerts and plays. Also spending time with my family.
