1.What made you start CrossFit?
I ballooned up to about 260 and realized I needed something to push me like sports. Crossfit gave me that push.
2.What is one thing most people don’t know about you?
I worked in photography, TV and Movies for 15 years.
3.What is your one favorite and least favorite movement in CrossFit?
Favorite movement: All of the cleans and snatches
Least favorite: ? Now, as I get older it has to be the squats. Yes, that includes air squats. Oh yeah and I am too damn old to do a burpee.
4.What is your ultimate cheat meal?
5. Since starting CrossFit, What is your biggest/proudest accomplishment.
I am amazed I can still compete with guys half my age and increase my max regularly. That definitely has a lot to do with the coaching. Juice and Katie are the reason I have increased at least 40 pounds in several movements.
6.What are your top 3 favorite movies of all time?
Star Wars the original, Saving Private Ryan and to throw a comedy in….Old School.
7.What is your favorite past time outside of the gym?
Booze and boating…..duh
