Before class starts, look at your class roster and preemptively assess which

athletes may need special instructions or scaling. You can write those athletes’

modifications down ahead of class and provide it to them as you go.

Ensure athletes are warm in all ranges of motion and are familiar with the

movements via the warm up. Let them know that the workout will have DB

movements that are intended to be heavier than normal. Minimize letting them know what is included. Tell them the workout will be
