Goal here is to hurt. After all that is what the open is all about. Burpees should be at a nice smooth pace and the snatches should be done in big sets. Emphasize choosing a weight that allows you to move through the snatches fast so that they can not only make up time from what you lost on the burpees but give them more time to pace them out as well.
